"舞蹈練習室系列", 是李昕2024年亂畫的「舞踊筆記」。也是她的實驗藝術的新語彙。她用版畫滾墨,壓克力及油畫棒等多媒材。運用版畫的複製性,象徵練舞的重複性。重複同樣的舞步,卻又每次不同,而在一遍又一遍的重複當中,不知不覺,自己也不同了。作品的重點就是重複。相同構圖,但不同的色塊、不同線條;畫的時候,隨心所欲,如同練舞時的不斷重複練習和即興發揮。
李昕畫"tangos" 與"sevillanas"兩系列,一個是探戈,一個是佛拉明哥舞蹈。畫的時候,非常快樂,沒有在管當代不當代,只有顏色的跳躍,風格的實驗,心情的揮灑。她重複的畫150多張,想要用「畫」說「話」,而不是用「話」說「畫」。這反而成就了她的 "當代" 性;原來重複,也能道盡千言萬語的。
The "Dance Studio Series" employs various mixed media such as printmaking ink, acrylic, and oil pastels. The repetitive nature of printmaking symbolizes the repetition in dance practice. Repeating the same dance steps, yet each time they are different, and through this cycle of repetition, without realizing it, you yourself have changed.
The focus is on repetition: the same composition, but with different colors and different lines. While painting, I followed my instincts, symbolizing both the repetitive practice of dance and the improvisation within it. Creating this series was a joyful experience; I wasn’t concerned with whether it was contemporary or not, it was all about the lively interplay of colors.
I painted nearly 200 pieces in repetition, aiming to let the paintings speak for themselves, rather than using words to explain them.
